My wife and I moved to Mockett's Wood Surgery about a year ago and have never regretted our decision. I am now carer for my wife who has terminal cancer. We both get excellent attention very quickly indeed from both the Doctors and the Nurses through the helpful Receptionists. I honestly cannot think of any improvements that could be made. I can even order repeat prescriptions via the internet.

It is very helpful to have the walk in surgeries twice a week and know you will see a doctor after a short wait. Dates for the flu clinics could be sent to patients who are on the list ie diabetics so that they are aware of when they can go to the surgery especially if you are not a patient who visits the doctors very often. Being able to request repeat prescriptions and make appointments by email is a very good idea and can avoid delays of having to wait for appointments. A self check in screen would avoid waiting to speak to the receptionist and a screen calling you to the doctors room could also be an advantage.

Having only been a patient here for only the past two years, I have been most impressed by the level of care offered by the Doctors, Nurses and Reception staff at this surgery. One of the most useful facilities here is the twice weekly walk-in surgery which in my experience is not available at other surgeries. Excellent throughout.

A surgery with a thoroughly modern approach to care, where all doctors and professionals go to extraordinary lengths to ensure that you get the best, appropriate, treatment and speedy diagnosis. All staff - receptionists, nurses, doctors etc are thoroughly professional, polite and helpful.
